The power of California Fair Services Authority's (CFSA's) Purchasing
Services program comes from the volume discounts our purchasing
agent negotiates with vendors. Because these discounts are based
on the overall projected annual buying power of California's fairs,
fairs of all sizes, with purchasing needs of all sizes, receive
the same discounts. Popular items include paper goods; janitorial,
office, electrical and lighting supplies; award ribbons; computers;
environmental clean-up tools; signage, construction materials; ticket
booths, and machinery (forklifts, tractors).
Fairtime Equipment Rentals
We can also assist with fairtime rentals on canopies, trailers,
portable toilets, golf carts, strollers/wheelchairs, radios, large
equipment, tables, chairs and other event essentials. On a fee-for-service
basis, CFSA will manage all aspects of the competitive biding process,
from developing specifications and soliciting and evaluating bids,
to ensuring compliance with state requirements, issuing purchase
orders, arranging deliveries, and processing payments.
